F.R. Line Pier is a 10-acres central waterfront facility, highlighted by a 96,000-sq. ft. terminal building.

Currently, a major source of activity of the port is importing and exporting of various household goods and vehicles to Cape Verde, Azores, Brazil and Haiti. A long with its port activities, the port has developed a strong transportation infrastructure. It has direct, on-dock connections to three rail tracks for freight shipping. Utilizing the port's truck terminal and storage facilities, the port is easily accessible to major metropolitan area via Route 24 (Boston) and 1-195 (New York, Providence and Cape Cod).
